Online
Two games, one broadcast, a whole month of July. The PUBG Mobile bracket ran first, the Mobile Legends bracket followed, and the viewer never had to move.
H3RO Esports is the tournament programme run by Tri, the Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison brand, with the national esports body PBESI. The third edition in 2022 carried a Rp300 million prize pool across both titles and sent its winners to Piala Presiden Esports. PUBG Mobile played its open qualifier, play-offs and grand finals between 4 and 17 July, where BOOM Esports took the title. Mobile Legends followed from 18 July: an open qualifier, an eight-team group stage and a main event on 29 to 31 July that EVOS Icon won 3-0 over Geng Kapak. Both games also ran a Ladies bracket.
One stage for two games
Mfalme Studio produced the virtual broadcast. Nothing was played in a venue, so the stage, the caster desk and the match overlays were built once and re-dressed for each game. When the tournament switched from PUBG Mobile to Mobile Legends, the broadcast switched with it, and the home audience saw one event rather than two.
This is the esport streaming format at full length: a national tournament, two titles, four weeks, and not a single seat in the house.
