Kereta Cepat Whoosh, Jakarta–Bandung
The hardest part was not the match. It was that the venue arrives in Bandung whether or not you are ready.
For its eighth anniversary, Garena Free Fire wanted a Clash Squad match nobody had played before. It put Windah Basudara and MiawAug, with six more of Indonesia's best-known gaming creators, inside a Whoosh high-speed train between Jakarta and Bandung and had them play at 350 km/h. Windah's Tim New took it 3–1. MURI recorded it as the first gameplay video ever made inside a high-speed train.
Mfalme Studio supported GOODSTUPH to execute the production. The match ran live from inside the train, and for the length of the journey everything had to hold: cameras, sound, the match, and the clock.
Every other job has a way out. Run late, reset a camera, go again. This one had no stage, no ground to rig from, and no pause button. The production window was the journey, and the train does not wait.
What we can tell you is the constraint: a live match at 350 km/h, on a timetable set by the railway. What matters is that the broadcast held until the train stopped.
