A rookie champion fresh out of a masterclass, against the team that had just represented Indonesia at the world championship.
Battle of H3RO 2025 was the showmatch that closed Tri's rookie cycle: Hyperion Wanc, winners of the H3RO Rookie Tournament 2024, against ONIC Esports, champions of H3RO Esports 5.0, on Monday 17 March 2025 at 19:30 WIB, played online and broadcast on the Tri Indonesia YouTube channel. The match was set up by a three-episode documentary series that followed Hyperion Wanc through the H3RO Masterclass with ONIC in February and asked, in its final title, whether they were ready.
The payoff of a story told over months
Mfalme Studio produced the virtual broadcast. By the night of the match the audience had been following the rookies since December, so the broadcast's job was to deliver the ending: the two teams on one virtual stage, with the presentation of a grand final rather than an exhibition.
